The AeU Bachelor of Education (Teaching Islamic Studies in Primary School) with Honours is a one-of-a-kind programme in education that allows professional working adults and in-service teachers to attain on-the-job training while working towards a degree. The aim of this programme is to strengthen and enrich knowledge in Islamic Studies at a primary school level. The use of technology through online learning and blended learning as the main medium in the teaching and learning process of this programme will help stimulate the teachers intellect and increase their professionalism in school.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT
Normal Entry
Malaysian Students:
- Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent with at least CGPA 2.00, OR
- Matriculation/preparatory programmes with at least CGPA 2.00 with a credit in Mathematics at SPM level OR
- STPM with 2 principals (CGPA 2.00) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM result, OR
- International Baccalaureate with 24 points, OR
- A Level/K-12 with at least C grade in 3 subjects and a credit in Mathematics at O-Level
International Students:
- English Language Proficiency equivalent to IELTS of 5.5 or TOEFL score of 550 or passed the AeU Placement Test or other equivalent approved by the Senate of AeU. Those who have their tertiary education in English shall normally be exempted from the requirement.
Alternative Entry
Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) Entry Requirements:
- 21 years of age as of 1st January in the year of application;
- Possess relevant work experience; and
- Passed an APEL assessment
