Asia e University welcomed the Auditors and Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) officers to conduct the Academic Performance Audit on the university from April 20 to 22, 2010. AeU’s President/CEO, YBhg Prof Dato’ Dr Ansary Ahmed introduced members of the university management committee to the audit team followed by a presentation of the University.

The audit team members included Prof Dr Abdul Razak Hamdan, Chairman, Auditor Panel, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Prof Madya Dr Ahmad Hj Mohamad, Secretary, Auditor Panel, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Prof Dr Ong Duu Sheng, Auditor, Multimedia University, Prof Dato’ Dr Raja Abdullah Raja Yaacob, Auditor, Universiti Teknologi MARA, YBhg Prof Dr Mohammed Zin Nordin, Auditor, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Prof Yiu- Kwan Fan, Auditor, Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualification, Pn Zainon Nor Ahmad, Director, Standards and Qualifications Reference Division, MQA, Pn Rahimi Saidin, Assistant Director, Institutional Audit Division, MQA and Pn Zeti Shazlin Mohd Daim, Assistant Director, Institutional Audit Division, MQA.

The audit team members conducted their interviews and discussions with all levels of staff and students patiently and professionally. The conclusion generally was very encouraging and positive. This feedback will spur AeU on the right track to excellence.
