The study mode you choose will depend on your ongoing commitments, your financial resources and your individual study preferences.

Whichever study mode you choose, you’ll experience the same high quality, highly engaging programme of study.
Study part-time or full-time?
AeU gives the option of choosing part-time or full-time study.
Part-time, fully online learning mode enables you to study for AeU’s qualification without putting your life on hold. Whether you are a busy professional looking for the next career step or a school leaver wanting to start your career without sacrificing your education, fully online learning mode may be the solution you need.

For those who feel the need of face-to face contact with the academic members, there are tutorials for only once a month at the main campus and at any of our learning centres. Part-time, blended learning mode offers an immersive online learning experience with face-to-face classes and real time discussions. It blends the flexibility of online learning with rigour and quality of on-campus experience.

Some of our programmes are available in full-time, on-campus mode. Full-time programmes are generally shorter and only available at the AeU Main Campus in Malaysia.

Non-Malaysian students who are interested with the full-time study mode option will get assistance on visa and accommodation arrangements.

You study 100% online.

Online learning allows you to get a university-level education without having to physically attend our campus. You’ll access to all of the support that AeU has to offer, but all of your lectures and tutorials will take place online.

A variety of platforms are used to deliver content and enable you to collaborate with other students and our academic staff. Some activities are scheduled – such as online meetings with your academic facilitator – but otherwise you’re free to access and work through the video lectures, reading materials and other online activities at your own convenience.

Our online learning courses are built around flexibility – allowing you to plan your own learning at a time and a place that suits you.

  • Those who want a fast-paced, immersive learning experience with 24/7 flexibility.
  • Those who have a busy schedule and prefer to set their own pace for learning.

Our online courses deliver internationally recognized qualifications from undergraduate to postgraduate degree. When you enroll as an online learning student at AeU you will join the AeU alumni in the same way as our on-campus and blended learning students.

Benefits of Blended Learning

  • It’s time-saving to be able to access all study materials online, which is the standard practice in blended learning. It is also time saving not having to travel to the campus every day.
  • You can enjoy quality education at an affordable cost. Tuition fees tend to be lower for blended learning programmes compared to on-campus programmes.
  • Your communication with peers and teachers is more effective. The online part of your studies allows you to easily communicate through instant messaging, mails and video calls. But the best part is that you can clear all the “lost in translation” aspects by getting to meet your coursemates and lecturers face-to-face.
