VC's Message

A message from the Vice Chancellor

First and foremost, I would like to welcome all of you to Asia e University.

The university was established  in 2007 with the goal to provide quality education that are affordable and beneficial to the global  community.

This year we will celebrate our 14th anniversary and we are proud to say that in 14 years we  have accomplished numerous achievements and we will continue to strive for excellence in the  foreseeable future.

Currently we have approximately 29,000 students from all over the world. Over the years, we have  succeeded in producing a large number of high profile and credible alumni which include, Tan  Sri Dr. Syed Hamid bin Tan Sri Syed Jaafar Albar, Dato’ Dr Mary Yap, YB Datuk Wira Hajah Mas  Ermieyati binti Haji Samsudin and many other prominent individuals. On behalf of the university, I would  like to thank these prominent figures for their unwavering support to us and we will uphold to our  excellent working culture and commitment to provide the best to all our learners.

As we all know, the pandemic hit the education field quite badly. Many educational institutions including  ours managed to strive to stand through these tough times and with this I would like to take this  opportunity to thank our front line workers at the university who work hard in making sure that our  system in teaching and learning processes runs smoothly. In fact, we have managed to upgrade our Campus Management System (CMS) and also the Learning Management System (LMS). These two  systems will ensure that our learners have the access to our educational materials regardless their  location and it can be done on their preferred available time through this pandemic period. This is our  commitment to our students that they will always be our utmost priority and we will never compromise  on quality.

Nevertheless, realising that we have the leverage on the digitalization of our teaching and learning  processes, we believe this is the best time for us to expand our learners’ demography. Our educational  and support staff have succeeded in making sure that we are ready and able to commit to two new  programmes namely are Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor in New Media. Insya-Allah these two new  programmes will be as successful as our existing programmes.

Lastly, for the year 2021 our main goal is to continue to be the pioneer in Online Distance Learning  (ODL) and we have enhanced our system by introducing several initiatives such as Synchronous Online  Final Exam (SOFE), AeU Micro-credential and other automations. As the Vice- Chancellor, I believe we  are able to contribute to a much greater role towards the national and international education field and  Insya-Allah by working together as a team we should be able to achieve this objective.

Assalamualaikum.
