Executive School of Graduate Studies (SGS)

Job Responsibilities:

  • To support the operations of SGS according to the job scope assigned.
  • To manage Proposal Defence (PD) and matters related to it (pre and post) in order to ensure the efficient and professional conduct of PD.

Finance Executive

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle a full set of accounts.
  • Monitor and manages end-to-end financial processes, including collections, payments, monthly close activities, and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Ensure all accounting records are properly recorded and reconciled from time to time.
  • Review the integrity and accuracy of all accounting entries in accounting system.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, produce and improve templates of forms and reports pertaining to assessment activities.
  • Provide all information from students, proctors and venue providers (including Malaysia Embassy) on Proctoring Services to the Head of Assessment.

  • Serve as Exam Secretariat during Final Examination.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the management and processes of PA, FA, Renewal and other application to MQA JPT, etc
  • Create Tracking Sheets for each QAmanaged Programme

Academic Fellow

Job Responsibilities:

Supervision:

The Academic Fellow is responsible for guiding the student in planning their research and dissertation/thesis preparation. The following are some aspects of the responsibilities:

  • Guides the student in the selection and planning of an original research topic.
  • Establishes with the student a realistic timetable for completion of the various phases.
  • Ensures that student has an understanding of the relevant theories and the methodological and technical skills necessary.
  • Ensure quality of supervision.
  • Submits a half-yearly Progress Report on the student’s research progress.
