Completing the Master of Business Administration (MBA) via the APEL.Q pathway with Asia e University has been a transformative and rewarding journey. The APEL.Q pathway allowed me to leverage my prior learning and professional experience, enabling me to fast-track my education and save valuable time and resources.

This innovative program by Asia e University is a blessing for seasoned professionals as it provides the flexibility to pursue our passion and translate our rich experiences into tangible insights for academia, industry, and policymakers. This effort in promoting lifelong learning is especially important in today’s evolving educational and business landscape.

I chose to specialise in Software Engineering from one of the concentration subjects offered in the programme. I enjoyed the AeU learning experience, including participating in AeU’s many social and networking activities which had broadened my outlook. My achievements had defined me and moulded my personality positively. I was elated when I was promptly employed as a software consultant not long after I graduated.

I enjoyed the classes and had fun with AeU’s activities – Industrial Visits, Cloud Computing Talks, Leadership Seminar, Bowling, Hiking to Waterfalls, International Sports and Cultural Camping, Walkathons, etc. It was an eye opener and a wonderful exploratory and enhancing learning experience for me. I had gained more in terms of networking and cultural experiences which I do not get in Indonesia. My confidence in communications and public speaking had improved tremendously from presentations made.

The programme is designed with up-to-date contents and vast online resources that provided me with better concepts in IT business management. The subjects were not only interesting but very relevant and paramount to my work especially cyber security, cyber law, entrepreneurship, leadership and project management. I was enlightened in many aspects, especially business planning, strategy, legal side of cyber laws which is central to my organisation’s direction.

The knowledge and experiences gained by me in the case seminars and workshops were interesting. I gain a global perspective with an in-depth knowledge of the Asian economies and how to recommend solutions that go beyond international boundaries. I enjoyed the flexibility mode of learning which was amazing as it allows minimal disruption to my family, work commitments and challenges faced in adjusting my time and roles as a public officer, husband and father.

My MBA journey in AeU was incredible and a worthy investment. Working and studying in Malaysia was not only challenging but an amazing part of my career and life. I love Malaysia as it is multiracial, progressive, peaceful and a wonderful food paradise. I had the perfect work life balance with AeU’s flexible study arrangements that suited my career. AeU has definitely won a special place in my heart.

I enjoyed AeU’s flexibility mode of learning, which enabled me to complete subjects and study according to my pace, place and time without giving up my own business and quality family time. Entrepreneurship was my chosen concentration subject to strengthen my knowledge, supplement my real-life business experiences and other essential skills. Despite my many challenges in time-management, yet I could excel in my studies. I was supremely happy and honoured to bag three awards at the AeU’s 7th convocation.

I have the ambition to seek further understanding in the business of training and skills development and to upgrade my quality of teaching delivered and to ensure high quality standards are improved and maintained. I choose AeU because it offered distance learning DBA programme with a flexible blended mode of learning where I can study from my hometown without giving up on my career.

The quality of my supervisor assigned by AeU is great. I can approach my supervisor through email or face to face appointment. The academic facilitators are very professional and knowledgeable with education and industry experiences.

The biggest challenges faced during my DBA study was time management when I have to arrange for flights to AeU Kuala Lumpur campus for a few mandatory assessments, attend the colloquium and meet my supervisor. As a full-time employee, I have to plan an itinerary to balance my time between my family, work and study without affecting my college duties. I was able to overcome all the challenges by multitasking and delegating my work to others.

The most rewarding part of the DBA programme is the relevance of the subjects that focuses on theories and methodologies that are related to the competitive business environment and how business management thrives in the 21st century. The programme not only gave me knowledge and confidence but had also overcome my fears that had always held me back. The invaluable DBA qualifications had brought a new dimension into my life to achieve a successful career in the near future,” she testifies.

“My success is attributed to my family’s support, encouragement and assistance by AeU’s Dean, academic facilitators and staffs. It was a great learning experience for me and I would certainly recommend AeU’s programmes to others,” she concludes.

I like the PhD programme because of its flexible mode of learning coupled with its affordability that allows me the freedom to manage my work, family and study at the same time. My learning has been accelerated through a wonderful and supportive academic environment which is characterized by creativity and innovation, networking and partnership, and most importantly collegiality and togetherness towards academic development.

The programme has opened up my mind to be more flexible in term of juggling between varieties of roles as a part time student, a full-time executive manager, a husband, a father, a son and a son-in-law. The programme has sharpened my research and analytical skills. The knowledge gained enriched my contribution to my organisation and improved the quality of my writing skills in my work. I am satisfied with the quality of professionalism of the AeU academic and administration staff.

The rigorous curriculum is constantly updated to reflect the evolving industry in Early Childhood Education. The course is interesting and have improved my self-confidence and time management in my attempts to balance work and study.

Having to strike a balance between work, study and family life were tough, yet it was the flexible learning mode that enabled me to manage and excel in my studies, with a concentration in Early Childhood Education, earning me the Chairman’s Award at AeU’s 2014 convocation. The qualification has broadened my knowledge in Early Childhood development and confidence to be an effective educator. It had given me an edge on alternative choice if I decide to veer into a different career path in future.

I learned valuable inputs on how to refine and improve my research paper presented at one of AeU’s postgraduate research seminar on an in-depth study of how children behaved under various play situations. Teaching mathematics through plays shows how teacher-engineered socio-dramatic play was effective in promoting mathematical learning especially in the area of logical mathematical processing. As the founder/owner of a pre-school, the degree provided an added endorsement of qualification not only for me but also to my school.

The programme was interesting and practical for me. It is an unforgettable experience that has broadened my perspective and provided me with new insights in my teaching career. The learning experiences steepen my learning growth curve in life. As I expand my mind through the learning process, the programme gave me the keys to break barriers in my teaching career and helped me greatly in developing my expertise in the education field.

The programme helped me to develop good interpersonal and communication skills. I had improved in my writing and oral abilities related to the teaching of Islamic subjects in the classroom.  I have also improved my work ethics, critical thinking and problem solving skills in teaching Islamic subjects by moral values.

I enjoyed the Bachelor of Education programme offered by AeU as it was created specifically for those who did not have the time or opportunity to enter the traditional university. The flexible learning is best for teachers like me who do not want to give up their jobs to further their tertiary education. My knowledge in teaching has increased tremendously and I am thankful to AeU.

The flexible learning mode adopted by AeU gave me the convenience and flexibility in accessing learning materials, submitting my assignments online at my own pace anytime and from any locations. The programme helped me to explore the latest techniques in teaching to be a better teacher. Despite the challenges of managing my time in work and doing the assignments in private, I was able to excel in my studies. I am thankful to AeU for awarding me the prestigious President’s Award at AeU’s 8^thconvocation in 2018.

The AeU’s excellent online learning platform enables exploratory and effective learning at ease and their flexibility is beyond any boundaries. In my journey of educational immersion at AeU, I have gained a wealth of new knowledge and skills in conducting research, data collection, data analysis and thesis writing. It is a journey of self-discovery, personal development and transformation. As an author of 9 International books. Armed with an AeU PhD, I am now seen in my workplace as having absolute confidence and qualification in my area of expertise.

Apart from the opportunity to present my work, the conference benefitted me through the network that I created with fellow students and academics. I would encourage every post graduate student to make an attempt to present at least a paper at a conference as part of their academic journey.

AeU provides the flexible learning mode to working and non-working adults at affordable fees ie the retirees to continue their lifelong learning journey to acquire new knowledge and skills beneficial to themselves, their families, employers and countries. AeU Knowledge Centre with its digital library holds a large bank of invaluable resources accessible online to meet all my learning and research needs. This facility plays an important role in material sourcing that supported my research.

I am grateful to AeU’s friendly management and staff who had immensely inspired me with their professionalism, supervisions and mentorship to complete my studies. The knowledge gained was immensely helpful to my personal development.

Today I can proudly proclaim that the flexible mode of education offered by AeU has helped me to achieve this and I am now a proud PhD, graduated from a reputable multinational university with all the associated honors and privileges. AeU thus is a boon for people like me who aspire to obtain their degrees while in employment.

I am glad the results of my research had enabled me to produce a model that can be used for the benefits for all, especially in the academic world in future. My wife, Agussari Henny is also an AeU student in PhD (Education). Both of us fell in love with AeU due to the uniqueness of its programmes and its unparallel flexible mode of learning.

My PhD’s journey had changed my outlook in life, enhanced my learning aptitude and knowledge about Asia, the Saharan and Sub-Saharan regions and beyond. My advice is to give yourself a chance to pursue lifelong learning and to contribute to organisations and societies at large.

The experience obtained in this programme has been invaluable and of great professional satisfaction, as it allows me to the flexibility to study and work at the same time. The PhD has made me see things in the world in a critical but factual ways.

I was happy to know that my thesis has succeeded admirably in meeting its goal, is eminently well-written, and has met the high international standards required. This PhD has enhanced my critical thinking and research skills.

I have passed my proposal defense and has started my research project which I hope to complete within the stipulated time frame and budget. My supervisor and lecturers are very supportive and I am very confident that I will successfully complete the project.

I began to learn so many things like statistical analysis, copy writing, research methodology and etc, which gave me extra confidence to stand in any stage to present my PhD research paper boldly. Thanks to my supervisor and AeU. I managed to graduate and attended AeU’s Convocation Ceremony in Malaysia with my family in October 2017.

The learning environment is stimulating and it is above my expectations. The knowledge gained from theories, methodologies and research had sharpened my method and approach in problem-solving in areas of human resource management in the business context. My AeU experience was enriching, eye-opening, self-discovering, humbling, and fun. I invite others to enjoy this.

I have benefited greatly in knowledge from AeU’s MBA and DBA programmes. I would not hesitate to recommend others for a lifelong learning at AeU. It had enabled me to achieve my dream and mission, which is to assist the young and inspiring entrepreneurs to be successful in their business ventures.

AeU offers an immersive online learning experience with live face-to-face classes, real-time discussions and creating vibrant social network that enabled me to study and interact 24/7 with professors, academic facilitators and fellow classmates who live and work around the world. Such interactions offered more than what I know of traditional on-campus programme.

The programme encourages creativity, analytical and critical thinking, while at the same time helping candidates to further develop their strategic knowledge, problem solving and business skills.

The AeU’s MBA curriculum combines eastern and western perspectives with a special focus on Asian business and it is highly relevant to my career and fits my ambition to be a competent Asian business leader.

Other more important features that attracted me to the programme was the peer group I study with – all with very varied backgrounds and geographically diverse. This diversity is the best way to experience parts of the world that you may otherwise not come into contact with.

I need more business knowledge to enhance my career and AeU managed to deliver it very well. I could apply the theories I learnt to my work. Despite having 20 years of work experience, I somehow feel the limitation on seeing things in other points of views. Embarking on my DBA is another eye opener to explore different dimensional views. My MBA and DBA studies not only help me to contribute better to my current job but I have become an important role model for my kids.

Having a flexible programme especially for a director of operations like me is crucial with my super busy work schedules. If not, the chance of me not completing the programme is very high. That said, AeU is a masterpiece in delivering distance learning online MBA.

With AeU’s excellent supervisor, facilities and good student services, AeU PhD has all the important elements to give any researcher like me as a student, a quality education in a friendly and supportive environment.

I would say, the advisory and counseling services provided by the university through its programme consultant-coordinator were valuable and helped to motivate and inspired me to complete my study according to my targeted time. My journey at AeU was fruitful and worth my investment.

Throughout the programme, I learnt a great deal on the management theories which were applicable in my workplace. But what made all the difference to me is the encouragement of critical and analytical thinking. I thank AeU for fulfilling my education dream.

I like the way AeU runs its MICTM programme. The theories learnt are very relevant and applicable to my work. Learning became more interesting with constant interactions with my course mates and friendly academic facilitators via WhatsApp group, Another competitive advantage of AeU is the quality of its academic facilitators who are not only professionally qualified but had extensive industry experiences.

AeU’s MICTM programme gives me wider perception and concept in ICT. I could now create a new and more effective system that caters to the needs of the project assigned to me. A part of that, the flexibility offered minimised the disruption to my personal schedule. For me, I can still manage time for my family, career and studies at the same time. The AeU’s MICTM programme allows me to learn new applicable knowledge for the advancement and continuation of my academic career which spans seven years.

As for the programme, AeU offers a dynamic delivery, is inspirational and very exciting. BDCM is one of the best programme I’ve attended. I would say it is packed with full of cutting edge techniques and really challenging. I learnt so much here and I loved it!

Science education was my chosen concentration subject. It had inspired and motivated me to teach science more creatively and efficiently in school. The programme was relevant, whereby I could easily implement the knowledge I gained in my current job.

The experience gained in this programme had been invaluable and of great professional satisfaction. After I graduated, I opened a Cambridge English Centre with a friend and the business is doing great. Thanks to AeU, the knowledge I gained from the Master of Education degree enabled me to venture into other areas. My life had changed tremendously for the better and now I am doing what I love best.

All seminars provided were interesting and it helped me to develop a deeper understanding on my studies and at the same time enabled me to network with professors, academic facilitators and other course mates. My struggles were worth it when I earned a valuable Master of Education.

My learning experience at AeU had broadened my perspective in teaching Bahasa Malaysia and also provided me with new insights on how children learn.

I enjoyed my learning experience because the knowledge gained was relevant and applicable to my occupation. After I graduated, I continue my studies in Master of Education with AeU. With my encouragement, my 21year-old daughter is also pursuing her Bachelor of Education with AeU.
