Lecturer – School of Management

Job Description:

To facilitate and monitor the class activities and forum participation in the Personalized Learning Space (PLS) for the assigned courses.
To prepare and mark the student’s assessments (continuous assessment and final exam) for the assigned courses.
To monitor counseling activities with respect to student
To engage in examining duties, i.e. the production of exam questions/papers, exam marking and moderation.
To conduct research and write academic papers for discussions, conferences and publications in academic forum and journals.
To be responsible for preparation of the MQA documents
To assist the school in programme and partners as assigned by the Dean
To undertake reasonable academic tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the management of AeU.
To perform any other relevant tasks given by the Management from time to time

Qualifications:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree/ Master of Business Administration/Accounting or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience and relevant industry experience
Possess a valid teaching permit
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Computer literate
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving educational environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Executive School of Managament

Job Description:

To provide administrative assistance and supporting in teaching and learning activities for the school.
To assist school in record keeping and documentation such as maintaining MQA filing record to satisfy MQA requirements for audit purpose of the teaching and learning activities.
Acting as secretariat for school’s meeting and prepare the school meeting minutes.
Assist school in resolving academic queries pertaining to student matters and subjects offered in school.
Assist the school on administrative tasks as outline above on some special projects with partners.
Assist in organizing and arranging school activities with students and AF whenever is necessary.
Liaison person with relevant departments in communication issues pertaining AF and/or students.
Any other duties as assigned by Management and Deans

Analyst Programmer

Job Responsibilities:

Analyse, design and develop new module, bug fixing, maintain and support modules in Campus Management System (CMS), Learning Management System (LMS), and other systems and program.
Assist and support in operations for CMS (e.g. myAeU), LMS (e.g. myPLS), mySPEED and other systems and program.
Develop technical specifications and implementation of Java and PHP based codes or any programming languages required by the organisation.
Develop multi-tiered web-based application development using XML, PHP, PHP Framework, Web Service and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Develop any reporting modules from mySQL database in web-based, PDF or excel format.
Assist in developing technical documentation whenever required
Estimate and plan development work, report on task progress and deliver work on schedule.
Provide guidance and technical expertise to less experienced programmer in resolving design and code problems.
Perform any other tasks and duties as assigned by superior or the management from time to time.

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology/Information Systems, or relevant fields.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT services and develop.
Possess strong analytical skills and natural problem-solving ability.
Experienced in MySQL server.
Strong programming skills.
Required Language(s) – English. Bahasa Malaysia.
Team player with good time management.
