English Language Competency for International Students:
All International students who intend to pursue the EdD programme are required to fulfil the academic entry requirements for the programme concerned as well as the English Language Competency Requirement as follows:
English Language Competency Requirement for International Students
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) – Minimum score 5.0 or
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL PBT) – minimum score 500 or
- Other recognised equivalent test
EXEMPTION:
However, an international student from a country using English as an official medium of instruction or from an academic institution using English as a medium of instruction, shall normally be exempted from the above requirement
